Things are progressing well. Work continues on Kobolds of the Frostwind Forest, and art is coming in for Steam, Savants and the Kandris Seal.
The future d20 publishing schedule for HFP is kind of up in the air right now because of the introduction of D&D 4th Edition. It’s likely we won’t know what the true terms of the license will be until June 6th. With all kinds of rumors and unsubstantiated statements being made, we prefer to not make any decisions until we can actually see the license. Until then, we will continue with our current plans, and explore options with other game systems.
Savants, Steam and the Kandris Seal has now entered the final stages of layout, and artwork is coming in. We managed to get the services of Storm Kerr for this project, and you’ll see an example of his work to the left of this text. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger version of the picture.
We don’t have a firm date for the release of the d20 (3.5 e) version of the book, but it should be out by Gen Con in both pdf and hopefully print format.
Stay tuned for further developments.
One of the things we’re working on right now is a new symbol catalog for CC3. It’s going to be used in a future project, but since we’re making it up anyway, we figured we might as well make it available to our customers.
When it’s finished, it’ll be a complete catalog, with everything from natural features to man-made structures to resource symbols. The plan is to make it comparable to the symbol sets released by ProFantasy in scope, and will contain both black and varicolor versions of each symbol.

The first review for The Kandris Seal (Modern d20) has been done. Check it out here.
A part of DriveThruRPG’s Free RPG week, The Kandris Seal (Modern d20) will be one of 17 products available for FREE on Tuesday, November 13th (after 10:00 EST).
I just wanted to drop a note here and let you all know that we’re still here, working away at projects. A few things have stalled due to other obligations, but things are still moving forward.

I’ve received the Pulp Kandris Seal manuscript, and I’m doing a first read through. It’s looking really good so far.
Hart-Felt Productions is pleased to announce that V Shane will be doing the cover and interior artwork for Steam, Savants and the Kandris Seal.
Editing and layout of Steam, Savants and the Kandris Seal, the Steampunk genre book for The Kandris Seal has begun. I am very pleased with the manuscript Bill handed in. He’s coming up with a bit more material for me to round things out. Once I’ve got that, I need to get in gear (ha ha) and get the art done so we can get this steam-powered puppy out the door and into the marketplace.
Bill Keyes delivered most of the Kandris Seal: Steampunk manuscript to me last night. All that’s outstanding is the adventure. I’ve just started reading through it, and it’s looking really good. Bill’s done a fantastic job, taking the world of the Kandris Seal and applying the conventions of Steampunk to it.
Once I’ve done a complete read through, I’ll post an exerpt or two, and then let everyone know about the schedule for publication.
