Steampunk Kandris Seal Update

Bill Keyes delivered most of the Kandris Seal: Steampunk manuscript to me last night. All that’s outstanding is the adventure. I’ve just started reading through it, and it’s looking really good. Bill’s done a fantastic job, taking the world of the Kandris Seal and applying the conventions of Steampunk to it.

Once I’ve done a complete read through, I’ll post an exerpt or two, and then let everyone know about the schedule for publication.

Update for September 22

I really need to update more often.

Okay, so here’s what’s going on:

The due date for the Pulp and Steampunk Kandris Seal manuscripts is rapidly approaching. I’m really looking forward to seeing them. Once I’ve got them in hand and I’ve looked over them, I’ll start looking for artwork for them. Hooray! :)

I’m still working on the updating of the Kandris Seal. It is going very slowly due some other considerations. I have not yet decided how I’m going to handle updates for people who have already purchased TKS. Some people will get a revision for free, but I’m not sure at what point the cut off wll be.

I’m also working on a new project for the Plot Spot line, called Dorgen’s Glen. More info on that as it progresses.

Finally, I have started up a podcast called the World of Lisacraft, where I talk about world creation for fiction and role playing games. The first episode is available for download, and the next episode comes out next week. It’s listed at iTunes (do a search for Lisacraft andyou’ll find it), or if you’re using another podcatcher program, you can get the feed link from the website.

Art for The Cross, the Crescent and the Seal

I recently received some concept sketches for the art for The Cross, The Crescent and the Seal, and I thought I’d post one of my favorites here. The artist creating the artwork is “JMBO”.
